Fierul este de o importanta cruciala pentru toate plantele de acvariu. Este necesar pentru a genera clorofila extrem de importanta. Fara clorofila, planta nu poate fotosintetiza.Efectele deficitului de fier sunt imediat evidente: frunzele tinere par palide si galbui (cloroza indusa de fier).Va rugam sa retineti: plantele pot absorbi doar fier divalent -alb-.
