Descriere
Caudicinctus Hemitheconyx, cunoscut sub numele de Gecko african coada- groasa, este o soparla Gecko nocturna, de sol, parte din subfamilia Eublepharinae. Membrii acestei subfamilii includ Gecko leopard. Soparlele Gecko africane coada- groasa sunt terestre, nocturne, au pleoape mobile, au dungi verticale si picioare lipicioase. Ele se gasesc in Africa de Vest, de la Senegal la Camerun. Habitatul lor este uscat si arid, iar majoritatea timpului si-o petrec intr-un loc intunecat, ascuns si umed. In captivitate, este important sa li se ofere o sursa de umiditate care imita aceste conditii.
